Tuesday Youth Group Meetings

Salisbury PFLAG offers WEEKLY teen social meet-ups! Meetings are held online via the Zoom platform and facilitated by Alison Vooris, MS, MEd, and Jessica Vooris, PhD. A PFLAG Board Member also serves as moderator. Youth meet ups meet WEEKLY on Tuesday nights from 7-8pm. All LGBTQ+ teens ages 12 - 18 are welcome! However, permission of a parent or guardian is required. Parents and guardians, this is a one-time registration process. In addition to weekly virtual meetings Salisbury PFLAG also arranges monthly youth meet-ups.

JUNE 8TH PRIDE HAPPY HOUR

Salisbury PFLAG has a happy hour each month on the second Wednesday of the month and during Pride Month it is extra special. Come out for adult drinks and stimulating conversation. Meet new friends and connect with the community. Join us from 5-8pm at the Brick Room 116 N. Division Street Salisbury, Maryland.

June 13th Salisbury PFLAG Meet and Greet

On June 13th from 6:30-8:00pm Salisbury PFLAG will have a meet and greet during their normal monthly meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship located at 2812 Old Ocean City Road in Salisbury, Maryland. All our welcome. Come and meet new people and find out about the great work that Salisbury PFLAG does in the community.

June 17th 3rd Friday Celebration and Free Pride Movie on the River Hairspray Live!

Start your evening at the City of Salisbury's Third Friday street fair and celebration from 5-8pm in Downtown Salisbury where Salisbury PFLAG/Pride will be distributing flags, pins, stickers, bookmarks, information, and other goodies. Afterwards, walk just a couple blocks and join us for a special Pride Month Free Movie on the River at the Riverwalk Amphitheatre brought to you by the City of Salisbury. Showtime starts at 8;45pm.  Feel free to bring lawn chairs, towels, etc. Parking is available in the La Quinta parking lot next door.

JUNE 18TH EASTERN SHORE JUNETEENTH

Say hello to Salisbury PFLAG/Pride representatives at the Eastern Shore Juneteenth Festival & Parade organized by Eastern Shore Juneteenth, a not-for-profit organization based on the lower shore of Maryland. Through an annual Juneteenth celebration, Eastern Shore Juneteenth intends to bring the community together to celebrate Black culture and achievement; to provide community education on Black history and the ongoing struggle for civil rights; and to create a safe space for Black creativity and expression. JUNE 25TH SALISBURY PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL

​The Inaugural Salisbury Pride Parade and Festival includes entertainment, over 50 vendors, exhibits, food, a kids zone, a beer and wine tent, and more. The first in the region, Salisbury Pride seeks to promote visibility and positive images of the LGBTQIA+ communities of the Eastern Shore. Salisbury is a diverse, eclectic city, and our hopes for Salisbury Pride Parade 2022 are to build alliances that work towards our mutual goals as a community. Salisbury Pride Parade 2022 has something for everyone! The event is 2-6pm in Downtown Salisbury. The parade will start at 2 pm. Spectators can pick their viewing spot along the parade route. A festival follows the parade, starting at 2:30 PM and a full schedule of speakers and performers will be featured on the Piedmont Stage.
